personality Anthony used to have a pretty free spirited before the invasion but has pretty much change entirely. People call him the serious soldier but he just think that he is being cautious if anything. Not being on your guard or not paying attention is one way to get yourself killed anymore. Never will you see him kidding around and if he is around people that do he will never treat them with respect.
During combat he tried his best however to make sure that the people under his command are safe. Anthony cares more about his people that anything else even more than winning a single encounter. The last thing you should know about him is that he never cracks a smile. Believing that a leader should be the serious one out of the team and nothing else.
history
Anthony believe it or not had no military training whatsoever even before the reaper invasion. Working as a simple technician for a computer software business he led a pretty dull and boring life. His relationship with his family was strain for some stupid decisions he had made. Besides being a technician he was a drug runner and for awhile there was doing drugs as well.
It was while on one of his drug runs that was when the reapers finally invaded. Anthony didn't really believe Shepard about sentient machines coming to destroy them all. Though now he wished he had believe then maybe he would have prepared some. At first he thought about running and hiding though changed his mind when he notice some reaper soldiers killing his parents.
Even though they barely talked to each other in the past Anthony never stopped hoping they were alive and well. Once witnessing the deaths of his parents did he decided to stay and fight back. Basically he is fighting the reapers so nobody will have to go through seeing the death of the people they love.
roleplay example
"Running bypass now sir..." Anthony knelled down as he pushed some buttons on his omni-tool and started the bypass. His shields deflecting most of the incoming rounds until one got through his shields. Penetrating his upper part of his shoulder as blood ooze from the gunshot wound but he still focused on the bypass. If he failed at getting this door opened then his team would get killed for sure.
Reaper forces started their advance toward them inching even closer to his team. Anthony had to save his team if they died then he had failed them and he wasn't gonna let that happen. The engineer freed his pistol from his hip and fired two shots behind him. Randomly he might add since he didn't have much time to aim so he just fired wildly.
Finally the red lock light on the door turned green as he stood from his knelled position. "Door is unlock sure!" he made sure his team heard as he slammed his fist against the door and it slide open. Quickly he provided covering fire as his team made it through the door before following behind them. Anthony stopped to catch his breath as he quickly applied some medi-gel on his wound. Once again Anthony was ready to kick the reapers back to dark space.
